Road Trip

Road Trip. There’s nothing like being on one. Cursed by urbanisation, we are constantly surrounded by tall buildings and traffic and….china students studying in the library….

…there is just no other experience that puts you in so much awe than going for a road trip.

Large expanse of land and trees that stretch for acres. The ocean, the droning sound of its waves. Rows of big beach houses lining the beach. Even the cows just strolling around and chewing on grass looks so tempting. Not like angus beef eye fillet steak kind of tempting but like I wanna join them in their chillax lifestyle.

Actually considering that I’m quite the couch potato means I’m halfway there? Wow i’m so craving for a steak right now. Okay i digress.

So headed down to the Great Ocean Road with the Monash Photography people on Monday and Tuesday. Great place, great people, great driver(AX), great dj(BJ)…nothing beats the feeling of just chucking your uni books aside just to look at big rocks.

Like how dumb is facebook! First they deleted my account and I had to create a new one. And now, apparently after attempting to add about 200 people using THEIR Friend Finder, they tell me that I might be spam?!! OH WHOOPEE DOO!!

I have a limit and you are this close Zuckerberg! Dun push it! Or else….erm….i’ll go back to friendster.

If anyone is interested in the holy grail of bullshit that is my old blog, do feel free to visit www.geraldgeraldgerald.blogspot.com. But i advise you not to.

Personal opinion: I think the junk-writing part of the brain totally deteriorates when u go to uni and start writing all that act scholarly/journalistic essays. And vice versa.  Nevertheless it’s still feels nice to be blogging again. Wasting time in front of the computer can be too much to take sometimes and I like to pretend I’m being productive with my time.

I write as if I’m going to continue blogging for ages to come.

My first blog post sounds incoherent. I apologise.
